How Invisalign® Teen Works
Similar to regular Invisalign®, the Invisalign® Teen treatment process begins with an impression made of the teeth in order to custom-design the aligners for the best results. Once the aligners have been made, you will receive a series of clear aligners to take home. Each set of aligners is slightly modified from the one before, progressively moving your teeth into a straighter position. The aligners are worn for about two weeks, and then discarded for the next set in the series. They can be removed for eating, drinking, and daily teeth cleaning.
Invisalign® Teen typically shows the most optimal results after about 9 to 15 months of wearing the clear teeth aligners – often in less time than it takes traditional metal braces!
