Mission Trails Dentistry, a San Diego cosmetic dentistry practice, has announced that Dr. James Salazar has earned his Accredited member status with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). Due to the lengthy and rigorous process, the AACD accreditation highlights Dr. Salazar’s commitment to pursuing excellence in the dental profession, whether he is performing a smile makeover with porcelain veneers, composite bonding with teeth whitening, or a routine filling.
As a cosmetic dentist in San Diego at Mission Trails Dentistry, Dr. James Salazar is announcing his recent accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He is one of 12 dentists in San Diego and joins 331 dental professionals worldwide who have achieved this prestigious status. The extensive credentialing process included a written examination, oral examination, and the submission of dental cases for peer-review and evaluation to ensure he is capable of providing exceptional cosmetic dentistry procedures, such as porcelain veneers and crowns, teeth whitening, composite bonding, or anterior tooth replacement.
The accreditation process was developed by the AACD to encourage further education, provide valuable interaction with like-minded colleagues, and the opportunity for personal growth. Dr. Nils Olson, the chairperson for AACD accreditation, says the credentialing program is the most advanced of its kind worldwide, and requires dedication to continuing education, as well as responsible patient care. “We are honored to welcome Dr. James Salazar to the ranks of AACD Accredited members.
